Multi Toolbox ("the app") is an offline-first utility toolbox offering calculators, converters, education, finance, measurement, and everyday utilities.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app and its third-party services handle.

In short: The app does not require an account or registration and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location for operating the app. Most features work fully offline and store their working data locally on your device. Some optional features use third-party services, including Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, Google Play Billing, and external APIs, as described below.

1. Data stored on your device

The app stores certain working data locally on your device, including preferences, histories, gesture templates, widget configuration, and purchase/entitlement cache.

The app also allows you to explicitly export certain data, such as settings and histories, as a JSON backup file using Android's system file picker. Exported files are under your control. We do not receive, transmit, or retain copies of files that you export.

2. Permissions and on-device sensors

The app does not request location permission and does not access your contacts, call history, SMS, or other files except where you explicitly select or provide them through supported Android file-selection mechanisms.

3. Network services and third-party providers

Certain features require an internet connection. When you use these features, the app communicates with third-party service providers.

These services provide data from the fawazahmed0 currency API. Exchange-rate requests do not intentionally include personal information from the app.

Dictionary

When you use the dictionary feature, the word you look up is sent to freedictionaryapi.com so that the service can return its definition.

The app does not intentionally send your name, email address, location, or other account information with dictionary requests.

The privacy practices of these third-party services are governed by their respective policies.

4. Crash reporting — Firebase Crashlytics

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to detect, diagnose, and improve the stability of the app.

Crashlytics may automatically collect information when an app crash or other reportable event occurs, including:

Crashlytics uses this information to identify crashes, determine how many app installations are affected, diagnose technical problems, and improve app stability.

We do not intentionally send your name, email address, location, contacts, messages, or the contents of files you access in the app to Crashlytics.

We also do not intentionally attach personally identifying information to Crashlytics reports.

Crashlytics data is processed by Google according to Google's applicable privacy terms. Firebase states that crash stack traces and associated identifiers are retained for a limited period and that the removal process begins after 90 days.

5. Purchases and Pro features

Pro upgrades are processed through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat.

The app uses an anonymous app user identifier and purchase/entitlement information to determine whether Pro features are available and to restore purchases.

We do not receive or store your credit-card, debit-card, or other payment credentials. Payment information is handled by Google Play and its payment systems.

The app does not require you to create an account or log in to purchase or use Pro features.

6. Advertising

The free version of the app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Depending on your region, consent choices, and Google's advertising configuration, AdMob may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, app interactions, and other signals for purposes including advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services.

Where legally required, including in the EEA and UK, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request the appropriate consent choices before serving personalized advertising.

Pro users do not receive advertisements, and the advertising SDK is not initialized for Pro users.

Your advertising and consent experience may also be affected by Google's own settings and policies.

7. What we do not do

The developer does not:

Third-party services described in this policy, including Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, and external APIs, may process information according to their own privacy policies.

The app is intended as a general-audience utility application and is not specifically directed to children.

8. Data retention, deletion, and your rights

Data stored locally

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it through the app's available settings, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

Crash reports

Crash reports and associated Crashlytics identifiers are processed and retained by Firebase Crashlytics according to Google's retention policies. Firebase currently states that Crashlytics begins removing crash stack traces and associated identifiers after 90 days.

Exported files

Any backup or export file you create is stored wherever you choose through Android's file picker. You are responsible for managing or deleting those files.

Developer-controlled data

Because the app does not maintain user accounts or a server-side database containing your app data, we generally do not have a copy of your locally stored app data that we can access, export, or delete.

If you contact us by email, we will receive and process the information contained in your message for the purpose of responding to you and handling your request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable laws, such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's data practices change or when clarification is necessary.

When changes are made, the Effective date at the top of this policy will be updated. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or the Google Play Store listing where appropriate.
